While it already makes me nostalgic for the warm summer days, I know that all good things must come to an end. Girard Supply Co. will be closing it’s doors for the season on Sunday November 11th. Please come by this weekend Nov. 3rd & 4th and next weekend Nov. 10th & 11th for our BIG sale!

Yea, uh, Ms. McCabe certainly brings the fun, so it’s not like we really needed it, but, what’s a fall workshop without hot apple cider and a skosh of spiced rum?!
Does this planter contradict itself? It certainly does not, but you can bet your bottom it contains multitudes. This extra saavy 5 layered planting system is the genius behind the four season planter.
Layer 1: Tulip Bulbs
Layer 2: Crocus Bulbs
Layer 3: Lettuce Plants
Layer 4: Pansies
Layer 5: Spinach Seeds
The pansies, lettuce and spinach will grow and bloom all winter long for healthy nibbling and the crocuses (1st) and tulips (2nd) will pop up in the Spring to return every year. Ah, the beauty of motha’ nay’cha!
